Lyra Disc 8 Inch Glass LED Wall Sconce

The Lyra Disc 8 Inch Glass LED Wall Sconce brings the Lyra disc vocabulary to the wall in a glass material expression — a single circular glass disc mounted on a bronze framework projecting outward from the wall surface, the silhouette translating the disc geometry of the cascading stairway variant into wall format. Where the stairway variant cascades twelve alabaster discs through eight vertical feet, the wall sconce isolates the single disc geometry at face level.

Glass at this scale does different work than alabaster does in the stairway variant. Where alabaster transmits light from within, glass refracts and passes it through — the wall sconce produces brighter, more directional output than the stairway alabaster cascade. The bronze framework holds the single disc at the angle that lets the circular geometry register from across the room; the disc itself catches the bulb behind it and produces refracted warmth at face level. The compact proportion reads as architectural punctuation rather than statement wall lighting.

A piece for the rooms where wall lighting should match the disc vocabulary of the Lyra family at intimate scale — modern hallways with substantial wall surfaces, contemporary entryways flanking artwork or architectural detail, primary bedrooms where the bedside wall lighting should provide focused brightness rather than diffused glow.
